How the money works
You start the pot. Your people fill it. MOBALON holds it until the goal.
Five steps. No hidden percentage. The fee is still to be announced — we would rather say that than invent one.

Create your account and set your goal.
Barbers, hairstylists, beauticians, hair artists, and students sign up, then name the industry goal — a mobile salon bus or beauty van, a shop or salon, equipment, school tuition, or another barber and beauty project.

Start the pot with your own deposit.
You put something in first. For a student, that can be the enrollment payment that holds a seat at Mobile Salon School. The meter should never open empty.

Friends, family, clients, and associates contribute.
Share the campaign. People who already believe in your hands add to it. Every gift shows on the meter with a name, or as anonymous if they ask.

MOBALON collects each donation and credits your meter.
The money is not scattered across apps and cash apps. It is collected by MOBALON, credited to your campaign, and held toward the goal you published.

Goal reached — funds released to the fundraiser.
When the meter hits the goal, the funds release to you. Payout details are collected after you launch, not before the story is even written.
Questions, answered straight
What is the platform fee?
Platform fee: to be announced. Checkout does not add a fee on top of the gift.
When do I get paid?
Funds are held toward your goal. When the goal is reached, they are released to the fundraiser. Until then your dashboard shows payout status as “Held toward goal.”
What about refunds?
While a campaign is still open, a donor can ask MOBALON about a refund. Once the goal is reached and funds are released, refunds are handled with the fundraiser.
Who can start a campaign?
Barbers, hairstylists, beauticians, hair artists, and students raising money for industry goals: a mobile salon, a shop or salon, equipment, tuition for Mobile Salon School or Hair Art School, or another barber and beauty project. Personal expenses outside the trade are not what this floor is for.
Are the campaigns on the homepage real?
No. Every preloaded campaign wears a red SAMPLE badge and uses fictional numbers. A confirmed Stripe payment is what moves a meter.
Is checkout live?
Checkout opens on Stripe. The meter moves only after Stripe confirms the payment. Platform fee: to be announced. A test key does not charge a real card.
